It’s 9 speed Shimano gears allows fast and efficient transitions between hills and flat roads and its alloy fork provides additional strength and control whilst riding the roads. Gliding along the roads at speed? Not a problem – this model is complimented with powerful Tektro Mechanical Disc brakes with 180mm rotors to ensure you always remain in control. Be rest assured, this model also comes with a 2-year warranty on all electrical components.
Motor:
This model boasts a powerful Suntour Performance 36V 250W electric motor system, seamlessly integrated into the rear wheel; providing reliable, high torque power (60NM) directly to the wheel – which will allow you to tackle the biggest hills with ease.
Battery:
A semi integrated Suntour STL battery is mounted onto the Crossroad’s frame, weight is balanced against the rear mounted hub motor providing an improved ride quality. With a capacity of 310Wh / 9Ah and a range of up to 40miles* per charge, the Crossroad is very capable of providing assistance for all riding conditions – whether than be a competitive race, work commute or leisurely ride with your local Cycling club – the Crossroad has you covered. To support the sophisticated motor and battery system, the Crossroad comes with a smart control system (BMS) that protects the battery from overheating, short circuiting or overcharging.
Display:
The electric motor of the Carrera Crossroad is controlled via a Suntour LED display. This allows you to choose from one of 3 assistance modes, depending on the level of support you require.
