Delivering outstanding aerodynamic performance, the AIR 9.8 Ltd frame and fork uses Boardman’s high modulus C10 Carbon to deliver a rapidly efficient ride without compromising on comfort. With Olympic gold medal-winning DNA, refined through extensive aerodynamic R&D, high-speed riding is definitely the AIR 9.8 Ltd’s forte. A stunning 9.8 paint scheme in matte and gloss black with brushed titanium decals gives the bike the looks to match the speed too.
Shimano’s precise and efficient 105 gearing gives smooth shifting, with a 105 front brake and a hidden TRP brake caliper below the bottom bracket offering plenty of stopping power and minimising drag. The Fizik Antares saddle is a favourite for many pros, and features here giving long ride comfort despite the AIR’s high-speed, point and shoot nature.
The Air Elite carbon seat post has 4 different mounting positions, allowing the effective seat tube angle to be adjusted between 73 and 75°, making the bike suitable for mixed Road, Time Trial and Triathlon duties.
