One of our trained bike technicians will conduct an inspection of the bike. This is done using our valuation assessment. After the inspection we will offer you a price for your bike based on age, condition and any repairs required. If you do decide to sell your bike, we will issue you a Halfords Gift card for the agreed value of your bike and ask you to complete some paperwork to complete the sale.

One of our trained bike technicians will conduct an inspection of the bike. This is done using our valuation assessment. We will also carry out a visual inspection for wear and tear. Your bike will be graded either Grade A, Grade B, Grade C or recycle.*This grading considers age, condition and any repairs required.

*Please note that all balance bikes will be recycled.

Your valuation is only valid for the duration of the appointment and if you decide to take the bike away with you, you will have to book in for another valuation appointment where you bike will be reassessed.

We will not take into account modifications when valuating your bike. The prices quoted are based on standard factory fitted parts. If you do have the original parts please feel free to fit these back to the bike before your appointment. Any damaged caused from fitting or removing after market parts will reduce the valuation of the bike.

Any of the selected models are eligible for an assessment / valuation by one of our trained technicians and it is at this point we will be able to determine the condition of your bike and any offer we are able to make. If the bike is in a poor state of repair to the extent that we are unable to refurbish the bicycle and re-sell it, in our sole discretion, we may make an offer to purchase the bike for a nominal fee and recycle it on your behalf.
