All Halfords mudguards are now made with at least 60% recycled material and this can be up to 90% depending on availability of recycled material. This doesn't effect the strength or colour of the mudguards.

The Essentials rear mudguard comes with all the spacers you need to fit this to most mountain bikes. It can fit common seatpost sizes 27.2, 28.6 and 31.8mm. The rear mudguard can be adjusted at 2 points to allow fitting to multiple frame shapes and wheels sizes and has an option to tighten with an allen key if you need a more secure fit.

Ensure there is a 75mm (3") gap between the tyre and mudguard to allow for mud clearance and prevent any rubbing of the guard on the tyre when riding over rough ground.
