Our CycleCare plans give you the best value on regular bike maintenance services like puncture repairs, brake adjustments, accessory fittings and more, so you can be sure that you’re staying safe in the saddle for a great price.

You’ll be covered for a whole year, or from the Enhanced plan upwards, you can opt for a 3-year plan to save even more. There’s a plan for every type of cyclist, from weekend riders to daily commuters, dedicated enthusiasts to e-bike riders.

Classic CycleCare

Our Classic CycleCare plan is our first-tier option, with just the right amount of cover for young cyclists or occasional riders. It’s a yearly plan, and while it costs just £10 when you buy a Halfords’ bike, it will save you a huge £39 on regular maintenance!

What’s included?

First up, you’ll get a free bike health check, carried out by one of our fully qualified technicians, to make sure that you’re ready for fun summer riding. As well as assessing 32 key safety areas, we’ll also top up your tyres so you can hit the road happy.

You’ll also be entitled to 2 free puncture repairs across the year of your plan, worth £28 – that includes both a Halfords inner tube and fitting by one of our experts, for free! So, if you hit any bumps in the road on the school run, you can be sure that CycleCare has got you covered.

From stabilisers and bells to baskets and mudguards, there are plenty of ways to make a bike your own, and with Classic CycleCare you can enjoy 10% off bike accessories every time you shop! Even better, you’ll get free accessory fittings to take the hassle out of customizing your bike.

Enhanced CycleCare

Our Enhanced CycleCare plan is perfect for enthusiastic summer cyclists and families who enjoy days out in the saddle but aren’t necessarily using their bikes all year round.

You can choose from a 1-Year standard plan or pay for 3 years of coverage to get an even bigger saving. Over three years, you’ll save a huge £264!

What’s included?

In our Enhanced plan, you’ll get all the benefits of the Classic plan – that’s a free bike health check and tyre inflation, carried out by one of our fully qualified technicians, 2 free puncture repairs a year (including both the Halfords inner tube and the fitting), 10% off bike accessories every time you shop, and free accessory fittings to keep you kitted out with mudguards pannier racks, and more.

With the Enhanced plan, you also unlock some additional benefits. You can enjoy a gear & brake adjustment to keep you safely in the saddle, and you’ll also unlock a half price Silver service, our 15-part service and adjustment; you’ll get your gears and chain lubricated, your wheels straightened, your brakes bled, new inner brake and gear cables, and more, for just £30!

Premium CycleCare

For passionate riders and year-round commuters, our Premium CycleCare is the plan for you. This top-tier package gives you a host of exclusive discounts and benefits perfect for avid cyclists – on the 3-year plan, you’ll save £467! It includes all the benefits of our lower plans (including some even greater perks) as well as brand new benefits exclusive to riders with a Premium plan.

What’s included?

For our Premium plan, we’ve also boosted benefits from the other plans to give you the best deal. You can enjoy unlimited gear & brake adjustments, so you can be sure that your bike is always fine-tuned and ready for action. You’ll also get free accessory fittings, so whether you’re swapping out your mudguards, fitting a bike rack to help you ride further, or upgrading your lighting, you can let us do the hard work for you.

While Classic and Enhanced plans include a free bike health check plus a tyre inflation, your check will come with a free chain lubrication too. You’ll also enjoy unlimited puncture repairs, compared to the 2 free repairs on the Classic and Enhanced plans. We’re also giving you more choice over your benefits – while our Enhanced plan gives riders a half price Silver service at £30, our Premium plan gives you the option between that or £30 off a Gold service. That way, you can choose whether your bike needs a routine check-up or a major service, with the same saving.

Premium E-Bike CycleCare

Our Premium E-Bike plan is a specialised package for riders with an electric bike. It includes the same benefits as the standard Premium CycleCare plan, as well as some tailored to owning an e-bike.

The same as our Premium plan, you’ll benefit from a free bike health check, tyre inflation, and chain lubrication, carried out by one of our fully qualified e-bike technicians to make sure everything’s working soundly. Unlimited gear & brake adjustments will help to keep your e-bike operating at its best, and free accessory fittings will make sure you’re ready for anything.

You can enjoy unlimited free puncture repairs (including both the Halfords inner tube and the fitting) and either a half price Silver service or £30 off a Gold service to keep you on the road (or the trail) all year round. If you ever need any work done, you’ll get 15% off bike parts to keep repair costs down, and an extra 15% off cycling accessories every time you shop will help you save on helmet upgrades, bike locks, and more.

On top of these great perks, our Premium E-Bike plan caters specifically to electric riders. Electric bikes are an investment, so to keep your bike protected, you’ll get a huge 45% off Cycleplan e-bike insurance to help you save without sacrificing safety. Finally, we’ll upgrade your bike’s software and firmware if it’s a Halfords brand or a compatible system. Regular system updates help to fix bug and improve your bike’s battery life and performance, so you’ll be helping to extend the life of your e-bike.

For targeted maintenance and preventive repairs, bike services are a must-have. Just like a car, a regular service will keep your bike working at its best and help to prevent any unexpected damage. We offer a range of bike services depending on your needs and how often you ride:

A Bronze (Interim Service)

Our first-tier service is perfect for bikes that are in good working condition but just need a tune up.

Our mid-level bike service is ideal for bikes that have been left without routine maintenance or have travelled a decent distance.

Our top-tier service is designed for frequent riders, heavy commuters, and well-loved bikes. We’ll strip your bike back the frame and rebuild it, inspecting and cleaning as we go.
