60-minute Click and Collect T&Cs

Interpretations:

Bank Holiday: means a day on which banks are officially closed.

Click and Collect: means the sixty (60) minute Click and Collect service which is available at selected Halfords stores.

Collection: means the Customer collecting the Goods from the selected Halfords store.

Contract: means the contract between Halfords and the Customer for the sale and purchase of the Goods in accordance with these Conditions.

Customers, you, your: means the person who purchases the Goods via the Click and Collect service.

Goods: means all car parts subject to availability but excluding car bulbs, wiper blades, and batteries.

Halfords, we, us, our: means Halfords Limited (company number 00103161).

Order: means the Customer’s click and collet order for the Goods submitted via the Website.

Service: means the 60-minute Click and Collect service which is available at selected Halfords stores.

Website: means Halfords.com.

1. Service Description
   1. Our Service allows customers to place an order for Goods through our website and collect them from a designated Halfords store in sixty (60) minutes.
   2. Customers whose UK post code and registered address is within the geographical region of the service will be able to choose Click and Collect on the Order page.
   3. The Service is available for online orders only and subject to product availability. Operating times for stores vary by location.
2. The Contract
   1. The Order you place via the Website constitutes an offer to purchase the Goods in accordance with these Conditions. Please read and check your Order before placing it, as you are responsible for ensuring that the terms of the Order are correct. You may only purchase Goods from us if you meet any legal age requirement necessary for purchase of the same.
   2. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an Order does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your Order. The Order shall only be deemed accepted by us, and a Contract formed when you have paid for the Goods and monies have been received by us.
   3. We only accept Orders originating from and for Collection to UK addresses.
3. Order Placement and Confirmation

   2. This Service is available to all Goods marked as available on our website.
   3. There is no minimum Order value on any Click and Collect order, and there is no charge for this Service.
   4. The Service is available for orders placed between the following hours.
      1. Monday to Friday 09:00am – 03:00pm (Orders placed outside of these hours can be collected by you 10:00am on the following day).
      2. Saturday 09:00am – 12:00pm (Orders placed outside of these hours can be collected by you 10:00am on the following Monday).
      3. The sixty (60) minute Click and Collect Service is not available to any orders placed on Sunday or any UK Bank Holiday.
   5. You cannot amend or cancel your Order once payment has been processed.
4. Collection Process
   1. Once your Order is ready for Collection, we will send a notification via email to the contact details provided during the ordering process.
   2. Please wait for your Collection notification email before coming in to collect your Order, as local traffic/exceptional operational activity may influence when your Order will be available to collect.
   3. We can only allow Collection of orders from a Halfords’ store address stated in your Order.
   4. Customer must present a valid Order confirmation (digital or printed) at the designated Halfords store selected during the ordering process. If someone else is collecting the Order on behalf of the Customer, they must provide a valid order confirmation.
5. Collection Timeframe
   1. We strive to ensure that your Order is available for Collection in sixty (60) minutes from the time the Order is placed.
   2. However, please note that unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will make every effort to notify you in advance of any potential delays.
   3. The sixty (60) minute timeframe is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery time. We shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience arising from delays in the Collection of the Order.
   4. If you arrive early to collect your Order you may collect, it if it is available. If your Order is not yet available for Collection, we may ask you to wait or to return at the agreed Collection time. Occasionally there may be a queue at your designated Halfords’ store if several customers arrive at the same time to collect their Order. Our colleagues will fulfil all orders as quickly as possible.
6. Goods Availability and Substitutions
   1. While we strive to ensure the availability of all Goods listed on our website, there may be instances where certain Goods are unavailable or out of stock.
   2. If Goods are unavailable, you will not be able to select that product for Click and Collect.
7. Customer Responsibility
   1. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the ordering process.
   2. Customers must collect their orders within a reasonable timeframe after receiving the Collection notification. Failure to collect the Order within seven (7) days may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the Order.
   3. Customers are responsible for inspecting their order at the time of Collection. Any concerns or discrepancies should be reported to our staff immediately.
8. Liability
   1. We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our Service, including but not limited to delays, product availability, or product quality issues.
   2. Our liability for any claims arising from the Service shall be limited to the value of the Order placed by the Customer.
   3. Ownership of, and risk in, the Goods will pass to you once you have (or the person you have requested to collect on your behalf) has collected your Order.
   4. We will make every effort to ensure your Order is available for Collection at your collection time but we cannot accept liability if the Service is limited or unavailable due to operational reasons or circumstances beyond our control.
9. Order Amendments, Cancellations, and Returns
   1. Once payment for an Order has been processed, Customers are unable to amend or cancel their orders. It is important to review the Order details carefully before making a purchase.
   2. Customers have the right to return the Product within thirty (30) days of collecting them from the designated Halfords store. The following conditions apply:
      1. The Goods must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags intact.
      2. The Customer must present the original order confirmation and appropriate identification when returning the Goods.
   3. If the Customer returns the Goods within thirty (30) day period and meets the conditions stated in clause 9.2, we will provide a refund to the Customer.
   4. If the Customer exceeds the thirty (30) day return period, they will be entitled to a refund in the form of store credit only, which can be used for future purchases.
   5. The refund or store credit will be issued within a reasonable timeframe, typically processed within five (5) days.
10. Sale of Restricted Goods
    1. Some of the Goods available for the Service may include items such as, aerosols, sharp objects, glue, or other items that are prohibited or restricted by law.
    2. The sale of these restricted Goods is subject to age restrictions as mandated by the laws of the UK. Customers must meet the minimum age requirement as set out by the relevant legislation to purchase and collect these restricted Goods.
    3. We reserve the right to request proof of age from Customers before selling and releasing any restricted Goods.
    4. Customers understand and agree that any violation of age restrictions or misuse of restricted Goods is strictly prohibited, and we shall not be held liable for any consequences or legal ramifications arising from the Customer’s failure to comply with the applicable laws.
11. Modifications to the Service and Terms
    1. Halfords reserves the right to terminate the availability of the Service, at any time and without notice.
    2. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time without notice and Halfords reserves the right to make these changes at any time without notice. You are required to read these Terms and Conditions before placing an order. Your continued use of this Service after these changes constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions as modified.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
    2. Any dispute arising out of or in relation to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
