MotorEasy Motoring Club warranty offer

FREE and PREMIUM members of the Halfords Motoring Club can enjoy a few extra months free warranty cover, when they purchase a 12, 24 or 36-month Halfords | MotorEasy warranty plan (the “Offer”).

Conditions:

  1. This Offer only applies to Halfords Motoring Club members who purchase MotorEasy warranties from 5th September 2022. It cannot be retroactively applied to warranties purchased before this date or to individuals who subsequently join the Halfords Motoring Club.   2. The Offer is organised and hosted by Halfords Limited of Icknield Street Drive, Washford West, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 0DE (“Halfords”) in association with MotorEasy Limited of Staverton Court, Staverton, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL51 0UX (“MotorEasy”).
  3. Halfords is an Introducer Appointed Representative of MotorEasy, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.  In entering the promotion, you consent to passing your personal data to MotorEasy (similar to what is used on our website). Any personal data collected by Halfords will be used wholly in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
  4. FREE Halfords Motoring Club members will receive an additional 3-months free MotorEasy warranty when they purchase a 12-month or longer plan.
  5. PREMIUM Halfords Motoring Club members will receive an additional 6-months free MotorEasy warranty when they purchase a 12-month or longer plan.
  6. All vehicles aged over 12 years or exceeding 120,000 miles will not be eligible for a MotorEasy warranty, all other vehicles will be subject to a MotorEasy health check whereby MotorEasy may determine the vehicle is not eligible for a warranty.
  7. If you purchase a MotorEasy warranty on a fixed 12, 24 or 36-month Term, your additional free months cover will be added to end of these Terms, effectively extending them to a 15, 27 or 39-month Plan for a FREE Motoring Club member or, 18, 30 or 42-months for a PREMIUM Motoring Club member
  8. If you purchase a MotorEasy warranty on a rolling monthly payment basis as a FREE Motoring Club member, your additional free months will apply to months 13, 14 and 15 of your warranty plan. During this period MotorEasy will pause collection of your monthly payment, before resuming the collection in month 16.
  9. If you purchase a MotorEasy warranty on a rolling monthly payment basis as a PREMIUM Motoring Club member, your additional free months will apply to months 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 of your warranty plan. During this period MotorEasy will pause collection of your monthly payment, before resuming the collection in month 19.

  11. To qualify for additional cover, you must provide a valid discount voucher code as listed on Halfords Motoring Club promotional material, along with your 10-digit Halfords Motoring Club membership number. Both should be entered when prompted on the “Finalise” stage (step 5) of the web site purchase process, or if purchasing on the telephone, when requested by a Halfords |MotorEasy Telesales agent.
  12. To validate your additional free months warranty cover, MotorEasy and Halfords will need to exchange the following information submitted when you purchase your warranty: your vehicle registration number, your name, your Halfords Motoring Club membership number.
  13. If you cancel your MotorEasy warranty prior to month 13 for FREE members or prior to month 19 for PREMIUM members, you will not qualify for any free months. You must be up to date with your payments prior to the free period being activated.
  14. If you cancel your Motoring Club membership after taking out the MotorEasy warranty, this will not affect your MotorEasy warranty.
  15. All other Terms & Conditions relating respectively to the MotorEasy warranty plan and the Halfords Motoring Club remain unchanged.
  16. If you purchased a MotorEasy warranty as a free Motoring Club member and then upgrade to a premium Motoring Club member, the number of free months appended to your warranty will remain three (3), as per the original plan purchased. However, any subsequent new policies that you purchase as a premium member, will qualify for the 6-months additional free coverage.
  17. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers that MotorEasy may be running from time to time.
  18. The terms and conditions for this Offer are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
