Your home vacuum cleaner is a bulky beast, designed to be used in the conventional boxes most of us live in. They’re not built for the tight spaces and awkward angles you find in cars - which is why most car detailing experts invest in a dedicated car vacuum.

At Halfords, we stock a range of car vacuums from leading brands like Black & Decker and Karcher, as well as our own brand of affordable cordless car vacuums. Sadly, we don’t stock car hoovers as they don’t make them, but we have everything else you might need.

A decent car vacuum will have enough suction power to remove the ground-in dust and grime that you can find in our cars. It will come packed with enough attachments to reach into those places that a hand can’t - like the side of the driver’s seat, deep into the boot and between the rear seat cushions.

Bigger cleaners will use mains power, but we also carry cordless car vacuums with rechargeable batteries and cleaners that can be powered from your 12v socket. (If you’re doing this remember that a vacuum will draw down a decent amount of power, so shouldn’t be run on the batter for too long, or you may need to invest in one of our jump starters!).

As well as our interior vacuums, we also sell Karcher window vacs, perfect for cleaning your windscreen without leaving any annoying or distracting streaks or residue.
