Paint Protection Film Black, 15cm x 1.2m

The Halfords Paint Protection Film Black (15cm x 1.2m) is a heavyweight high strength film coating. Provides an additional protective layer for areas of bodywork prone to damage.
  • Satin Black Paint Protection Vinyl Film
  • High strength adhesive
  • Quick to apply – easy roll release
  • Can be applied wet or dry
  • Replicates OEM finish
Perfect for additional protection to bodywork areas prone to chips scratches e.g door sills, boot sills, bumper edges, lower arches etc.

Direction for Use:
  • 1. For recently repainted vehicles ensure paint is fully cured before applying film.
  • 2. Ensure application area and surrounding area is clean and dry.
  • 3. With the backing still in place, dry fit the film to check the placement and carefully cut to the size required.
  • 4. Tight edges and complex panel shapes may require relief cuts in the film to enable it to bond smoothly.
  • 5. Where water does not pose a risk of damage, add 1 or 2 drops of washing up liquid to 500ml of water in a spray bottle.
  • 6. Liberally spray the application panel, peel the backing paper from the film spraying it as you peel.
  • 7. Place the wet film onto the wet panel gently and align it to the desired position (apply dry if water is not suitable for the area being applied to).
  • 8. Once positioned, press down firmly with a small squeegee or piece of card, working the water out from the centre to the edges.
If any air bubbles remain, these can be carefully pierced with a pin to squeeze out any remaining air.
