If you're looking to carry things on top of your car or fit a roof box or roof mounted cycle carrier, you're going to need some roof bars.

Once you've decided, it's time to think about fitting. If you don't fancy doing it yourself, worry not - we can fit your new roof bars at Halfords for added peace of mind for just £15/€20.

As well as fitting the bars, we'll assemble them out of the box and show you how to fit them yourself, so you can do it next time. If you'd like us to fit both your roof bars and a roof box or roof mounted cycle carrier, we'll do both for just £35/€42.

How Do I Get My Roof Bars Fitted?

If you're buying your roof bars in-store, speak to one of our in-store experts who'll be more than willing to help you out!

If you're buying your roof bars online, you can have them fitted if you choose to Click and Collect your order. All you need to do is:

1. Add the roof bars (and footpack if required) to your basket
2. Once you click Checkout, you'll be given the option to purchase the fitting service.
3. After you've placed your order, your local store will give you a ring to arrange the perfect time to fit your roof bars.

In order for us to be able to fit your roof bars, you'll need to have bought the bars from Halfords. To book a roof bar fitting with one of our fully-trained colleagues, just get in touch with your local store. Fitting is subject to vehicle inspection.
