We are sorry to let you know Vodafone have ended their V-auto service effective from November 30th 2020. If you were subscribed to the service, your last payment for the service will have been automatically refunded to you. Why has the service ended?
- We have made the decision to discontinue the V-Auto service to focus on developing our Designed & Connected by Vodafone range of Smart Tech products
- Our new range of devices will give people greater peace of mind and help them stay close to the people and things they love - all managed through one single app, the Vodafone Smart App for a seamless user experience
What will happen to the customer data that the V-Auto service has collected?
- We will keep your information for 12 months after the service ends to maintain our records and ensure we can help with any further questions you might have after your V-Auto account closure. Can I buy another car tracker and transfer my V-Auto data across?
- As V-Auto includes an embedded Vodafone Smart SIM (also know as V-Sim by Vodafone) it is not possible to use it with another service provider. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused
What happens to my V-Auto app?
- The service will end on 30 November 2020. After this you’ll no longer be able to use the features and functionality in the V-Auto app. If you do log into the app after this date, an error message will pop up to show that the service is no longer in use
What happens to my V-Auto device?
- The service will end on 30 November 2020. After this you’ll no longer be able to use the features and functionality of the device. Vodafone stores are Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment recycling (WEEE) drop off points and you can return your V-Auto device there for recycling.
