The Halfords Freewheel Tool is perfect for the installation and removal of bike freewheels.

The tool has a 1" hexagonal outside diameter for use with a 1" socket, adjustable wrench, or bench vice.

Please note this tool is designed specifically for freewheels made by Shimano and some other brands, it is not compatible with cassettes. Cassettes use a different system with a lock ring that requires a different tool for removal. For the removal of a cassette please use the Halfords Cassette Tool.
